A) Mindfulness
40mins Hike with a pack
Today your directive is to get out of your normal environment and take a little drive to nature. Find some place that has some uneven terrain for hiking. You are going to load up your backpack with a few books, or take your weighted vest with you, and you are going to hike for 45mins without stopping.
Similar to 3 weeks ago, I want you to leave your electronics and headphones at home or in the car. Try to leave the space available to actually listen to the world around you as you walk.
As an exercise in mindfulness, see if you can listen to the sounds of nature around you today. Try to hear any animals that are out there. As thoughts of your day ahead creep in, just acknowledge them and let them pass. Try to stay in the present moment.
